Without warning and while driving this vehicle on expressway, i've received the following notifications several times: "brake failure" (car brakes on its own); "service stability and auto hold"; and "high voltage" and battery. Brakes, speed, steering, parking systems and camera do not work properly. Car's capacity to drive vehicle safely is reduced significantly - speed to drive car is immediately reduced and is limited without warning. Car shakes passengers violently (whiplash) when it believes there are people or objects in its path when there is nothing there and does not work properly when pedestrians are around the vehicle. During the incidents both my safety and other drivers safety are at risk - i am afraid to drive this vehicle although the dealership has indicated they have corrected the errors. Vehicle purchased 23 oct - problems began around 2300 miles and have continued thru 4200 miles.
I keep getting a warning to service the safety restraint system. I have taken my car in several times to be fixed and have paid a lot of money and it is still not fixed. The dealership says they fixed it but then it happens again. This has been going on for about 3-4 months now. At this point i do not know what else to do. I feel this is a safety concern because i cannot drive down the road without the alerts going off in the car.

The seals on the factory headlight housings are faulty. They allow moisture into the low beam unit which blocks the light from projecting properly. The car is also safe to drive at night time.
The automatic collision system braking is engaging when the vehicle is in reverse and while it is raining. This occurs multiple times while trying to back the vehicle up during rain. This is dangerous for the passengers since they are abruptly thrown backwards without warning. The vehicle must be placed in "park" and then "reverse" multiple times until the collision braking stops malfunctioning.
Engine and transmission for the second time in 90 days apart. Supposedly be a new part. I don’t think so.

In an effort to avoid a potentially hazardous situation due to the decreasing speed in a high-speed lane, i attempted to maneuver the vehicle towards the right shoulder but was unable to because of the oncoming traffic. It became necessary to bring the vehicle to a complete halt, turn off the ignition, and then restart the engine in the left lane with traffic building behind me. The vehicle managed to restart but with difficulty, allowing me to exit the highway and pull into a nearby gas station where it eventually stalled and could not be restarted. - the vehicle displayed no warning lights or error messages prior to or during the incident. - got the vehicle towed to cadillac dealership for inspection and diagnostic testing. The engine needs to be replaced - the dealership was unable to provide a conclusive explanation but noted that similar incidents had been reported with this model. - independent research indicated a pattern of similar issues among owners of the same model, involving unintended shifts into neutral while driving. - multiple online forums and consumer reports sites have documented complaints regarding this issue. The gear is stuck between p and r. I am unable to move the vehicle when this occurred, i have too call aaa.
The contact owns a 2024 cadillac xt6. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the transmission malfunctioned, and the vehicle failed to properly accelerate. Also, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission erroneously switched from the automatic mode to the manual mode and the vehicle would not remain in the proper gear. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 114.
Check engine light (power reduced steering drive safely) notice came on. Code reads p0128, coolant below thermostat regulating temperature. This is an on going issue with cadillac. It’s definitely a defect because if you go on youtube you will see it’s not just my vehicle even on low miles vehicles. Then you are left with no choice but to get repaired at the dealer only to be ripped off. 180 for diagnostic testing at dealer to find out this is an ongoing issue across the us
