3rd brake light randomly goes dim online thousands of people have the same issue, it needs to be a recall. Light diodes are getting bad and the other half are cracking from the heat of the window. Chevy changed the like to the trunk lid. Seems suspicious to me. Chevy needs to make it right. Its federal law to have a 3rd brake light.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Car had numerous times of completely turning off mid drive and was taken into a certified dealer for inspection, with a conclusion that nothing was wrong. The transmission has failed (03/22/24) and has been recently replaced upon diagnostics from certified dealer. 2 days later after receiving vehicle from transmission fix (04/20/2024) the vehicle began to experience electronic stability control errors and caused steering assist to also fail mid drive and cause a locked steering wheel. These errors occurred (04/22/2024 and 04/23/2024) how was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? All of these factors explained above have happened during a drive and has put me at risk of numerous accidents that could have been fatal. The most recent one dated above, happened in the middle of the road with little to no where to safely pull over and restart the car system. Again, could have resulted in a fatal accident. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Electronic errors of the vehicle shutting off was unable to be reproduced or confirmed by dealer. Transmission failure has been confirmed and replace. Esc and steering assist has yet to be confirmed from dealer. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? This vehicle has been inspected by numerous dealers and or auto shops with little to no help in fixing any problems. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? I also have warning lights from all times i have experienced failures or warnings from the vehicle and will be providing this.

When starting the vehicle, which had some charge on the batteries, the engine immediately started and a message appeared on the speedometer screen which stated, "propulsion power reduced,” and another message said, “speed limited to 25mph. ” i was in a very busy part of hollywood running errands for my job when this happened. I felt very unsafe driving under these circumstances as i often need to drive above 25mph to keep up with traffic and cross busy streets to avoid other cars. The vehicle is available for inspection. It has not been taken to a dealership or anywhere else to have the issue looked at. The problem has occurred a few other times. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. There were no warnings or other symptoms whatsoever prior to this issue occurring.

2015 Chevrolet SILVERADO

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the power steering was inoperable and difficult to steer. The contact stated that the power steering completely seized. In addition, the power steering reduced warning light illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed rack and pinion and the rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The contact was informed of an unknown recall in which the failure description was similar to the contact's vehicle, however the recall had expired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 180,000.

The contact owns a 2015 chevrolet silverado.  the contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed that the air bag control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 58,380.

There is no temperature indicator and the car overheats. This caused the hose to the coolant to leak. I had the housing unit replaced but then the car still ran hot. I had the get the whole thermostat replaced. No forum could assist with the replacement of the 2019 as if this year model doesn’t exist and the part needed doesn’t fit properly making my car inoperable.

The contact owns a 2013 chevrolet sonic. The contact stated that there was fluid leaking from underneath the hood. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds, there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with a water pump and the thermostat housing failure. The contact discovered technical service bulletin: 14371b; however, the vehicle was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was unknown.

Hello so recently just after an oil change my cars check engine came on. I check with the app, it stated both a stabli-track issue and an emission. Which those 2 things don't connect in any way i know, they are 2 different systems. Then i went to a local auto parts store, autozone. We check the engine code and it was an emissions issue. It was my vapor canister purge valve malfunction. The other thing that this issue cause a rough start when you 1st the car in the morning. That sometimes it causes the stabli-track alert on the dashboard to come on, for a couple of moments. The reason im contacting you about this. Is because that the app is telling the customer me that there is 2 issues that specific issue comes on and that if no fix right away. The rough start up will cause the stabli track alert to come on. Even though it is not a stabli-track issue.

Tech during an annual inspection found the rear diff. Carrier cracked and crumbling apart into small pieces. There was evidence of fluid leaking onto the rear exhaust. Due to safety concerns tech would not inspect without the replacement of the rear diff. Carrier, axel/differential. Replacement cost was $2,681. 41.

At steady highway speeds, after driving an extended period on straight sections of highway, the steering sticks; requires a tug to get the wheel to turn left or right. My car is NOT equipped with Lane Keeping Assistance. I usually first feel this nearly an hour into a trip to our daughter's house, 2 1/2 hrs. away. I took the car into the dealer at 21.6K miles and in eighteen miles they "could not duplicate" and said there were no TSB's or computer updates for the problem. Now at 73K miles, this problem persists. I have seen a couple of others post this exact issue about their 2018-and-newer Equinoxes, on Equinox forums/sites, also with no satisfaction from their dealers. This could be especially dangerous on wet/slick roads. Of course a dealer won't be able to reproduce it as they won't drive a car multiples miles on a straight road without turning the wheel, and then attempting to turn it.
