    TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Chrysler 200. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE STATIONARY, THE VEHICLE STARTED LEAKING AN UNKNOWN FLUID. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER STEW HANSEN DODGE RAM CHRYSLER JEEP FIAT (12103 HICKMAN RD, URBANDALE, IA 50323, (877) 841-4585) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH NEEDING THE OIL FUEL ADAPTOR TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THERE WAS NO ASSISTANCE PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000.

    DRIVING AT 70 MPH, MY Pacifica JUST SHUT OFF. HAD NO CONTROL, HAD NOTHING. MANAGED TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. WHEN CALLED INTO THE BEAVER COUNTY CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP I WAS TOLD, "WE JUST SELL THEM, WE DON'T MAKE THEM." HIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN ONE ISSUE AFTER ANOTHER. THE SLIDING DOORS NOT CLOSING, THE DVD PLAYER NOT WORKING, THE RADIO NOT WORKING, THE SLIDING DOOR ON DRIVER'S SIDE STILL NOT WORKING AND THEY HAD TO COMPLETELY REPLACE THE GAS TANK BECAUSE I COULDN'T EVEN PUT GAS IN THE TANK IT WOULD SHUT OFF AND WOULDN'T LET GAS GET INTO THE TANK. NOW THIS. WE WERE SCARED FOR OUR LIVES AND THEN TOLD, "WE JUST SELL THEM WE DON'T BUILD THEM." THIS IS NOT A SAFE VEHICLE. ...*BF *TR *TT CONSUMER STATED PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. UPDATED 12/19/18*JB

    Since 11/2017, have had ongoing issue with sensation of a very hard shift occurring when accelerating especially if i have been driving in heavy traffic for some time. This has been on both highways and on local streets. Sensation is so hard, it feels like vehicle has been rear ended. This has occurred both before and after recall work was done. Have requested evaluation twice at dealer and each time nothing able to be found as cause. The event does not occur all of the time so service techs most likely did not experience it. Starting the week of 4/30, van has started to be slow in acceleration when pulling away from red lights, intersections and merging onto highways. Feel van is becoming increasingly unsafe to drive. Also had check engine light come on and found to be fuel pressure sensor. When first replaced at dealer, fuel pressure sensor worked for a few days and then van would not start and approx. 1/4 tank of gas lost on parking lot surface. Required towing and when checked o-ring had crimped and burst on new sensor. *tt *tr

    After fueling my car and leaving the gas station the car dies when i come to a stop. I restart the car, and they it stutters, goes, stutters, and then will die again when i come to a stop. This is at low speeds. *tr

    I'm driving a friend to the store and the car just stalls out like its out of gas on the attempted restart it had sound exactly like it is out of gas,i then call roadside assistance for a tow and they send a service that was not equip to tow this car since it has stopped,we could not get it in neutral to load it on the flat bed. The driver then suggest that i call a service with dollies to put under each wheel since the car is an all wheel drive model,after another tow truck was car with the right equipment, it is then towed to the nearest chrysler dealer not to where i had purchased the vehicle, chryslers roadside would only tow it 14 miles, my dealership was 6 miles over the limit,after 2days i was told nothing was wrong with the car and that i could come get it,well on the way home it stalled again in the same manner this time i after a little wait it started,and a block from my home it stalled again!! ,i then called my dealership they were very good,a lot better than chrysler's roadside assistance and a lot better than the other dealership in terms of realizing. That there was a serious problem at first they thought it was the ecu but that was last week it apparently was not and now it is going on 2weeks since i've been without my car, they did supply me with a loan car but they are still scratching their heads as to why my car keeps stalling i think i may have a lemon.... *tr
