This has happened on 4 different occasions. I'm on the highway and my speedometer slams to zero and everything involving the brakes lights up in my dash. The car continues to drive but it's pretty worrisome as i drive 70mph around alot of traffic. I have been able to pull over every time but it's still beyond unacceptable. I've had my veloster a little under a year and i don't know if the other recall involving the motor being replaced was taken care of. It was a recall associated with my vin. I have a video of it happening but for some reason i try to upload it on the app and it won't allow me to. It is the proper format.
I was driving and all of a sudden my car was shaking and i lost my traction control and i could not stop my car with brakes. I have abs and traction control warning lights on in my vehicle.
2024 palisade is not responding when i accelerate. I feel the suv not responding and other cars were close to hit me from behind.
Upon leaving the city, i attempted to accelerate and my car did not respond. I smelled exhaust gas fumes faintly. I heard the warning chimes approximately 4 times, but did not see any warning light. I coasted to a stop a few hundred feet where i could get off road. I pushed the engine off button and waited a few seconds, then i restarted the car and proceeded like it never happened. This could have caused serious problem if i had been on a freeway, tunnel, or bridge. I took the car to the dealership service department the next day, and they checked it out with nothing showing up. My incident seems like the faulty egr valve with poor solder connections: nhtsa recall no. : 24v-308 manufacturer recall no. : 260, but my vehicle was not included in this recall.
Have been driving the vehicle for nearly a year but while driving my motor blew exhausting blue all black smoke and then when i turn the car off the car was completely dead when i was getting it towed it could not be told because both of the front wheels had locked and no matter if i put the vehicle in neutral the car will not move come to find out that the bearing ride has shot a hole through the motor block. Took the vehicle to two different hyundai dealership was told the same thing that no one would take the vehicle or trade it in for an the value for another vehicle that i was stuck with the vehicle and had to pay for the damages which was about 12 grand also vehicle has been down in my driveway for the last year now cuz hyundai refused to pay it without $190 diagnostic fee again on top of 12 grand to replace my motor and the vehicle is not even worth all that money when i don't have much left to pay on it even though i only had the vehicle for only 2 years now but only driven it for only one. Lastly i've also read where there was a recall on these vehicles for the the baron rod and the engine malfunction as well as a new system being put into this these vehicles i was not aware of these recalls because it purchase of this vehicle was right when the recall window had closed and i ended up having a problem now they won't do anything about it can someone please do something about this vehicle.
My car has been burning excessive amounts of oil for the past 6 months now. It is so bad there is excessive carbin built up in the piston rings that caused my engine to missfire 2 times in less than six months. Today 5-7-2024 to my car back to the dealer for that problem and they told me i need a new engine but unfortunately it was not coverd by the engine extended warranty. Please help me resolve this issue because i cannot afford a new engine or a car.
When i driving my car dropped 20 mph during engine running. Hyundai car care center repaired with $4825. 35. After 10 days after i picked my car, i had same problem. I also paid $1864. 67 to take care of car problem. I think this problem has to take care of recall. I requested hyundai recall campaign center but no answer. I need your help. Since january 2024 i have had issues with my car starting due to low oil. I just had an oil change so i knew something was wrong. The repair shop stated there were no leaks and put more oil in and said that sometimes the car will not start if there is not enough oil. February 2024 and the car wont start again. Filled it with oil and took it to the shop again. They stated that the engine is eating the oil and to take it to the dealer for a test. Since then the car has turned off multiple time both while idling and while on the freeway. When you hit the gas it will not accelerate either. In the past i was able to turn the car off and back on again and it would work just fine but now it seems more frequent. Also, while driving when experiencing these issues i have had the stereo screen shut off and restarted by itself. At times the slippery when wet alert will also show on the dashboard which has been a sign for me that they car is going to act up so i turn it off right away and back on then it runs.
The contact owns a 2019 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that the vehicle would not immediately start. After finally starting the vehicle the check engine light remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the engine gasket was faulty causing oil to leak from the engine. The engine gasket was replaced and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 23,000.
As i was driving. The sunroof shattered without any object hitting it.
