    SINCE THE BEGINNING OF APRIL 2021, AND JUST AFTER THE ODOMETER TURNED OVER TO 10K MILES, MY E-Niro HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING A BIZARRE BEHAVIOR THAT POSES A POTENTIALLY SERIOUS SAFETY RISK. THIS TAKES THE FORM OF TOTAL LOSS OF ACCELERATION POWER FOR A FEW SECONDS, USUALLY AFTER DEACCELERATING TO A NEAR STOP (USUALLY, BUT NOT ALWAYS, WHEN USING THE PADDLE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL TO REGENERATIVELY BRAKE) THEN PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, OR WHEN MAKING A VERY TIGHT TURN (E.G., INTO A PARKING SPACE). POWER RETURNS A FEW SECONDS AFTER THE PAUSE, AND I CAN CONTINUE. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS VEHICLE FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS, AND THERE HAS BEEN NOTHING SIMILAR HAPPEN PRIOR TO THE START OF THIS BEHAVIOR AT THE BEGINNING OF APRIL. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN GARAGED AND CHARGED NORMALLY AND NO EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS OR OTHER FACTORS HAD BEEN PRESENT BEFORE THIS WAS FIRST NOTICED. INSTANCES NOW SEEM TO BE INCREASING IN FREQUENCY THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, HOWEVER. ON 2 OR 3 OCCASIONS, THE VEHICLE ACTUALLY BACKED UP A COUPLE OF FEET (ON LEVEL GROUND), WHICH WAS FRIGHTENING BOTH FOR ME AND THE AUTO BEHIND ME AND COULD HAVE RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT. ON THE OTHER OCCASIONS, BEING MOMENTARILY UNABLE TO ACCELERATE IS ALSO CONCERNING (FOR INSTANCE WHEN IT DIES HALFWAY INTO A TRAFFIC CIRCLE OR IN AN INTERSECTION WHEN STARTING TO MAKE A TURN). ALTHOUGH NO WARNING LIGHTS WERE INITIALLY SEEN, I NOW GET A "CHECK ELECTRICAL SYSTEM" WARNING WHEN THIS POWER LOSS HAPPENS, SOMETIMES EVEN WHEN THERE HAS BEEN NO LOSS OF POWER TO THE MOTOR. THE WARNING LIGHT DISAPPEARS AFTER THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TURNED OFF AND ONLY REAPPEARS WHEN ANOTHER INCIDENT OCCURS. I HAVE ASKED THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT ABOUT THIS, WITH NO FIRM RESPONSE YET. I'M REPORTING TO DOCUMENT THIS IN THE EVENT OTHERS EXPERIENCE THIS PROBLEM.

    I was driving up a hill and as i reached the top of the incline, my car stopped accelerating. I then attempted to use my brakes and i barely tapped them, but they reacted as if i slammed on my breaks. I took my foot off of the brakes and i began rolling backwards even though my car was still in drive. My brakes were then locked, i put my car in park and then turned off & then back on my car without removing the key. I then put my car back into drive, however, my gas pedal was still not working. I then turned my car off again, removed the key, put the key back, then restarted and went back into drive and it began to work again. There was not an issue after that.

    Date of incident: 22 apr 2021, thursday description of incident: while driving on cruise control at 45 mph on a well-paved two-lane road with no other vehicles or obstacles present in either lane, the vehicle suddenly automatically decelerated sharply, causing the front end to plunge. Simultaneously, several alerts, both in words and symbols flashed on the dash. These included? Check collision alert? And lights showing a skidding vehicle and a second showing the front of a vehicle in a crash. Alternating my attention between the alerts/messages on the dash and driving the vehicle, i steered to the side of the road and stopped. The engine was turned off and then restarted. All alerts and symbols were extinguished. An inspection of the front of the vehicle showed nothing covering or obstructing any portion of the vehicle. I accelerated back onto the road and returned to a speed of 45 mph without using cruise control. The vehicle returned to normal driving with no alerts or warning symbols. After driving approximately another 20 miles, with two periods of parking the vehicle, the cruise control was again engaged at 45 mph on an otherwise empty road. While i attempted to exit the following-distance control feature, the vehicle again braked suddenly with the same set of alerts and symbols as during the first incident. Again steering to the road shoulder, the engine was stopped and restarted with all alerts/symbols extinguished except the check engine light.

    It is impossible to use the brake pedal if the shoe size is us10+. The distance between the floor and the knee airbag mechanism does not allow the use of the brake pedal.

    I was driving home from work and i noticed my vehicle having a hard time picking up speed and soon after it was a noticeable knocking noise coming from the engine. The rpm and dashboard gauges were very sporadic. I parked the car and popped the hood to find that there was somehow absolutely no oil, but no current sign of leaking from underneath. The car continues to knock when i start it up and am afraid of it overheating and it is currently parked. It smells definitely like burntness and when shifting into d3 and d it seems to be the most apparent that the engine could be having touble. Speeds and rpm gauge are most sporadic at high speeds and the exhaust pipe seems to have residue of some sort that isn't normal.
