Drive shaft broke while driving down interstate. Diagnosed by nissan dealership and confirmed by private diesel mechanic. Currently sitting at mechanic shop waiting on quote to be repaired if possible- due to financial hardship to replace motor. There were no warning lights that lit up on the dashboard. Vehicle drove fine up to that point.
The red airbag warning light began flashing on my 2017 Nissan Armada on Friday, April 19, 2024. I took the vehicle to Wood Nissan of Lee's Summit for them to diagnose the issue. I was told the airbag control module had failed as well as the left side (driver side) curtain airbag. The dealership checked for recalls and found none. Non-moving vehicle components, like the airbag system, are designed to last the life of the vehicle and sudden and unexplainable failures like my vehicle experienced presented a risk not only to me, but potentially to other owners of the same model year vehicle. This vehicle has been well maintained with regular dealership visits and has never been in an accident of any kind as I am also the original owner. In searching for airbag system recalls, I found that there were various recalls on Nissan Armada model years just prior to and after my 2017 model and I am concerned there is a system issue that needs to be addressed directly by Nissan and the airbag manufacturer.
Engine code p2615 no power tun off in traffic pull out los power about got hit
The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while driving at approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle started losing motive power. The contact depressed the accelerator pedal and the vehicle failed to respond as intended. The contact pulled off the highway and attempted to shift the vehicle into park(P) however, the vehicle started moving backwards. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 42,000.
Electronic parking system warning light is on on four separate dates(12/29/2023, 03/20/2024, 03/28/2024, 04/17/2024). I have video recording as evidence that the warning light is on. It is a safety risk because it is suppose to be an emergency brake. Took it to the delearship to be inspected multiple times and as of right now, there has been no resolution. Even the engineer still can’t find a solution to fix it. The manufacturer has been informed.
Going down the highway coming home my hood popped up and blocked my visibility i swerved off the road causing my back tire to blow out. Now my hood will not open back up, since i closed it on the highway. I got my car to my house with the spare but am not sure what to do now. I looked and apparently my car has a recall for a faulty hood and was never taken in for inspection. I believe this was the cause of my hood failure.
Automatic emergency braking system error codes keep randomly coming on and the vehicle brakes on its own while driving. I’ve already had the sensor replaced previously.
Airbag warning light suddenly started flashing(on/off) constantly, regardless if anyone or any item is in passenger seat. After attempting to reset to no avail, taken to dealer for inspection. Dealer listed code b00a0-02(occupant sensor). Dealer stated only fix is to replace entire seat frame as the sensor is built into seat frame. Dealer stated failure to replace can cause airbag to activate inadvertently, or not activate when in a crash. The vehicle has never been involved in a crash.
While driving, the front collision warning activated, immediately followed by the automatic emergency brake system activating. This made my car break suddenly, attempting to stop in the middle of traffic without warning. There was nothing in front of me that could have activated the systems. This occurred twice in the past week.
I have been trying to get my car fixed for the tire rod recall and to this date 5/4/2024 they cant fix it and send me on my way this is outrageous i already had this replaced once a few years ago when i was originally leasing this they need to be quicker 9 months really? This isnt okay
