Shift to park issue. When i place the care in park a warning comes on stating? Action required? And won? T shut off. I have to shift to drive and back a few times for it to go off.

While driving at a consistent rate of speed on a 65 mph highway the vehicle suddenly and without warning lost engine power. The vehicle began to rapidly drop speed and the check engine light would blink when the accelerator was depressed. I was forced to abandon the highway and pull over onto the shoulder - not in an emergency lane - in between north and south bound traffic because the vehicle would not accelerate over 20 mph or exceed 2,000 rpms. After 3 hours of waiting in this dangerous location acura roadside assistance was unable to locate a tow truck. I turned the vehicle off and back on and noticed the check engine light ceased blinking. I then proceeded to return home and the problem returned a second time, this time accompanied with numerous indicator lights (e. G. , awd problem, abs problem, etc). The vehicle was towed to pohanka acura in chantilly, virginia. I was told the first time they cleared the codes they returned, but after a second time they did not. They were not able to replicate the problem, did not fix anything, and said it was caused by fuel choice. This is significant problem and safety risk known to acura. There is a patent history of acura choosing to not identify the root cause, associate this anomaly with fuel choice, and return the vehicle to the owner. In my opinion this is a negligent business practice and acura should be responsible for any injuries or damages associated with these unexpected, unannounced "limp mode" events.

Shift to park message appears when you shift to park and you turn off the engine. So even though you are in park the engine will not turn off. Very frustrating!

Theres a vibrating with the truck when reach 50 and up mph and shakes the whole truck had everything checked and dealership said they saw nothing

Vehicle hesitates when trying to accelerate. Loss of power and delay.. Lights inside on on dash flicker and headlights flicker and dim in and out. I do not have any photos. This has been happening for about a year.

MY CAR IS A 2017 Nissan Altima WITH ONLY 67,000 MILES ON IT. UNTIL 7/25/20, I HAD NO ISSUES OR COMPLAINTS. ON 7/25/20 THE GEAR STARTED DELAYING SO I IMMEDIATELY TOOK IT IN TO A LOCAL AUTO SHOP. I HAD TO PAY $130 FOR THEM TO TELL ME I NEEDED A BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION ON A 3 YEAR OLD CAR WITH EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION AND MAINTENANCE. NISSAN WAS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE BECAUSE THEY EXTENDED THE CVT TRANSMISSION WARRANTY ON THE 2015 ALTIMAS, BUT BECAUSE MINE WAS 7,000 MILES OUT OF THE STANDARD WARRANTY AND THE 2017 VEHICLES WEREN?T SPECIFICALLY INCLUDED IN THE EXTENSION, I WAS BEING ASKED TO PAY $6000 FOR THE REPLACEMENT. THEY ULTIMATELY OFFERED 60% OF COVERAGE BECAUSE OF THE FAULTY TRANSMISSIONS BUT NOW I AM DEALING WITH THE ALIGNMENT NOT WORKING AND THE CAR STILL JERKING AFTER PAYING AN ADDITIONAL $1650. I AM LIVID AND UPSET THAT THIS IS NOT ONLY A KNOWN ISSUE BUT THAT NISSAN IS NOT TAKING CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. I HAVE CHILDREN I DRIVE AROUND AND IT?S NOT SAFE TO BE DOING SO WITH A CAR THAT HAS DEFECTIVE PARTS.

I WAS NOTIFIED OF A SAFETY RECALL ON MY 2018 Jeep Wrangler BY THE NHTSA BACK IN MAY OF 2020. I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP (CROWN CHRYSLER AND DODGE) TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIR AT THE END OF MAY. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE GOING TO ORDER THE NECESSARY PARTS TO FIX THE ISSUE AND WOULD CALL ME BACK. I NEVER RECEIVED A TELEPHONE CALL BACK FROM THEM, EVEN AFTER I CALLED BACK SEVERAL MORE TIMES OVER THE COURSE OF 3 1/2 MONTHS, TRYING TO GET THIS SAFETY RECALL FIXED. THEY ARE REFUSING TO RETURN CALLS ON THIS MATTER, REFUSING TO PERFORM THE RECALL FIX AND REFUSING TO TAKE A WRITTEN COMPLAINT FROM ME OVER THE MATTER. NOW WHEN I CALL THEM ASKING FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO FIX THE RECALL, THEY SIMPLY HANG UP ON ME. PER THIS SAFETY RECALL, MY VEHICLE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CATCH FIRE WHILE BEING DRIVEN, PUTTING MYSELF AND FAMILY IN DANGER.

I put the car in park and it continued to roll! I could not get the shifter to move and the car would not start. I had to have the car towed to the nearest dealer. Thank goodness i was in a parking lot when this happened

Was driving car and it lost power while on highway. Causing cars to swerve to avoid hitting me. After going to shop found out it was the catalytic converter. Car was also burning oil and misfiring. Had the 3 and 4 coil relpaced ,spark plugs , but still not able to figure out what us causing oil to burn. Car had regular oil changes. Kia basically said that after i fix the coils car would be fine. Well it? S not still doing the same thing. I was informed that it just needs a new engine. Kia has refused to honor warranty.

The vehicle chugs and hesitates when accelerating on the highway or in the city. The rpm tachometer "bounces" as it does so. Took to dealership september 26, 2019 thinking it was fuel pump issue (recall 19-013) and they said this was not the problem and the fuel pump system was fine. Problem is still occurring.

Truck has had transmission issues for last 800 miles. Truck now has 12700. Shifts hard and slips especially 3-4-5 gears. 5th gear the worst on slipping, almost as if i put the truck in neutral, then it finds the gear and bucks. Definitely a hazard to drive. I have brought it into ford 3 times, the first time they applied a tsb, second time they said it was normal and refused to do anything. I called ford and sent it in for a second opinion they said they agree transmission needs work but refuse to work on it as the first dealership only one who can get paid for it.

2019 Jetta S. BEGAN STALLING AFTER 6 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP. CAR WAS PURCHASED BRAND NEW WITH 62 MILES. BROUGHT VEHICLE TO DEALER 09/27/2019 AND THEY STATED IT WAS FINE NO ISSUES COULD BE FOUND. ON 05/18/2020 THE CAR STALLED AGAIN IT HAD 15452 MILES ON IT. IT WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY KEPT THE CAR UNTIL 07/25/2020 TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY STATED IT WAS FIXED. ON 07/30/2020 THE VEHICLE STALLED AGAIN, AND THIS TIME THE BRAKES FAILED AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND I LOST CONTROL AND CRASHED INTO A CENTER MEDIAN WITH LARGE BOULDERS IN IT. IF THEY WERE NOT THERE I WOULD HAVE CONTINUED INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I WAS TRAVELING AT 45 MPH WHEN THE IMPACT OCCURRED. THE VEHICLE SAFETY SYSTEMS DID NOT DEPLOY BECAUSE THE CARS ENGINE WAS NOT RUNNING AT THE TIME OF IMPACT.

I have been having problems with my car sense i have owned it. From day one it started with my wheels rubbing and scrubbing when in motion. I called dealership had repairs done on it for the first 7 months. I reported the problem back then to you all. Then after 3 yrs i started to feel some hesitation when sitting or taking off. Then the forth year my power steering light comes on had that fixed now my engine light keeps coming on car still having some hesitation on and off. I paid to have a diagnostic test done on it by the place that does my oil change and was told that my codes where off and they were reset but 5 days later my engine light is back on ,ironically right after my five years limited warranty is over and my car only have 38,490 miles to this day and it is not yet paid for. This is ridiculous ,i have spent the last 5 plus years of dealing with this new lemon and all i get is another bill add to the 528. 02 a month i have to pay already. This car came highly recommended by the sales person and dealership and all i can see is that these cars are being push on hard working people that just want something reliable and its wrong. This car is frustrating and stressing me out ,i cant rely on it to get me through 5 more years i thought more of the gmc product and i cant take anymore of this trying to make this bad situation better on my own. Gmc needs to do something about these defective cars please.

On three different occasions i was stationary with the gear shift in drive and my foot firmly on the break,when the rpm? S suddenly revel up to over 5000 rpm and the truck trying to lurch forward. I had to ram the gear shift into neutral to get the rpm? S to drop down. The last time it happened at the bank parking lot. I came to a complete stop to let a woman cross in front of me to her car. All of the sudden the engine revs way up with me trying to hold the truck back as it was lurching forward. She thought i was trying to run over her. I don? T know who was more scared, her or me. I jammed it into neutral and after a few more seconds the revs dropped down to idle again. I? M taking it to modesto toyota tomorrow to get it looked at on august the 6th. The truck only has 63000 miles on it. The other two times it happened were in my driveway and at my storage unit. Both times i was stationary as well, truck in drive, foot on break. Very dangerous!

Mostly in the morning after the vehicle has sat all night and occasionally throughout the day after stopping at red lights or when leaving a parking lot. The vehicle will? Stall, shutter? Or however else you want to describe a rapid jerking motion while trying to accelerate from a stop. It causes a delay in the ability to effectively and safely merge the vehicle into traffic at times.

This truck shakes horribly over 70 mph. After looking for solutions and seeing hundreds of complaints on the same issue i have nowhere to turn and no hope that a dealership will be able to diagnose or fix this issue.

When taking off the transmission belt slips all the time so i try to ease into the gas as gently as possible. When a/c is running the car has almost zero acceleration and has a stuttering or stumbling issue that causes issues until i hit 3000 3500 rpm then seems to gain power. I have issues on the highway with the transmission seeming to slip out of engagement of the belt when speeding up to pass. When slowing down for a light, if the light turns before i come to a complete stop and i go to reapply pressure to the gas pedal, if i dont gently apply the gas the transmission belt will slip and cause the car to shutter. Im not sure what is causing this issue, but i have had since i purchased the car around 40000 miles, a cricket chirping noise that in the beginning was always at 2000rpm and no wheres else in the rpm range. Now it has gotten worse to where i seem to hear the chirping noise anywhere around 1500 rpm to 2250rpm range. As well i have had the radiator fan quit working causing the motor to over heat pretty bad but the head gasket didnt fail luckily. I have also had the entire time i have owned the car, an issue with the a/c when it starts up the clutch basically cluncks on or makes an awful noise kicking on and while the a/c would run before the fan failed, the air would start smelling very very bad. It smelled like chemicals of some sort and it would make me very natious to the point i would have to turn the a/c off and living in the desert in tucson, arizona this does not make for a very good comfortable ride at all.

Battery died and requires jump starting every time i turn the vehicle off. It took an hour to start my vehicle today. It is believed to be a voltage regulator issue just like other models of this vehicle but my vin says it isn't eligible for the recall.
