While operating my vehicle at speeds exceeding 70 mph in the leftmost lane of [xxx] , the vehicle unexpectedly shifted into neutral. In an effort to avoid a potentially hazardous situation due to the decreasing speed in a high-speed lane, i attempted to maneuver the vehicle towards the right shoulder but was unable to because of the oncoming traffic. It became necessary to bring the vehicle to a complete halt, turn off the ignition, and then restart the engine in the left lane with traffic building behind me. The dash lit up with several codes i got out, walked around the vehicle as if someone damaged it would not start. It went into theft mode. Alarms went off, emergency, breaking temperature, control, climate control, side detection error had to have vehicle towed to have all codes cleared with the advanced snap on tool computer the problem was undiagnosed but side detection error code is still displayed. Of course i was out of town had a $425 tow bill back home for a faulty side detection sensor.
The car seat was in the locked rear facing position without it in use (thankfully) and i got rear ended on the freeway and the car seat became detached from the base that was anchored to my car. The car seat ended on the floor between my two middle seats.

There are typically no obstructions or vehicles in front of the vehicle. It is most concerning when the vehicle automatically applies braking traveling at 70-76mph.
I noticed my brakes started squeaking when i would push the braking pedal. One day, i was pulling up to a bank, drive-through, applying pressure to the brakes, and i had stopped. I let off the break to pull up a little farther, but when reapplying the break, the pedal went all the way to the floor and there was a warning light saying something about servicing the brakes. I immediately picked up my foot and reapplied it to the brake pedal two or three times and the pedal did come back up to normal position. Then stopped me from hitting the car in front of me. The warning light turned off a few minutes later. The squeaking went away as well. That was a couple months back. But this week my brakes are starting to squeak again when i apply the pedal. So i’m worrying that the brakes may go out again. This vehicle has a very rough ride. I hear rattles when driving. It sounds like something is going to fall off soon. Since the warning light turned off, i did not take my vehicle to the dealership for service.
