Receive a recall notice in feb 2024. On march 30, 2024 vehicle oil light/engine light came on and started to engine noise. Because of the recall, it stated not to drive vehicle if this happens because it could cause an accident. Had vehicle tolled to titusville florida dealership on april 1, 2024. Was told that they were going to order parts, but available until 2nd quarter of 2024. Call ford service customer claim # cxh02216288. Asked for a car to use while waiting for repairs. Dealership told me that i was approved for a rental, but after 4 weeks, i went into dealership to ask about rental and they told me they waiting for one the be available. I had to get other transportation. Received another notice from nhtsa that the parts would not be available until 1st quarter 2025. So i requested for ford to do a buy out option on my vehicle and i was not approved for a buy out option. It's been almost 4 months at the ford service dept. I request ford to defer my payments because i will not a vehicle for may be 11 months. So i'm paying my monthly payments plus insurance on a vehicle that may never be repaired.

Back on february 27, 2024, my car was taken into the dealership due to a malfunction the oil pump gave out and dealership said that due to those issues "shavings were going into the transmission" which could cause further damage to the vehicle in increased risk of an accident. It is not going on to 5 months and nothing has been done i get calls that since it has been park for so long the vehicle is not getting more issues. At this point it has been one thing or another i had contacted ford for assistance spoke to orleis smith back in may 16 due to lack of progress. Till this day nothing has been resolved the vehicle went in got check and only had the recall issues and now dude to its long stand still more issues have come up the original reason is once again put on the back burner. Due to my single mother status, i have a fixed income and an unable to pay for the recall fix upfront to later get a reimbursement. I would like some assistance since the vehicle is uses for work. I received a letter in the mail a year ago 2024-01-08 concerning a recall on my 2021 ford ecosport. The recall involves the oil pump drive belt or drive belt tensioner which may fail, resulting in a loss of engine oil pressure and as a result it may lead to a loss of oil pressure can result in an engine stall and a loss of power braking assist, increasing the risk of a crash. I am concerned for the safety of myself as well as others. The parts won’t be available till the first quarter of 2025 my car has already started leaking oil and i am terrified. This is unacceptable i have to wait almost a whole year before parts can become available. Something needs to be done this is a huge safety concern.
