Entire engine and electrical system failure not corrected with new battery or $30,000 mi. Service. Once i turn car off, everything freezes up and won’t start again. Windows, steering, starter, everything locks up. Had to tow it to service 2 times in 3 weeks and they claim they can’t find problem. Dangerous!
Car suddenly freezes and no system works. Won’t start, shift, whole electric system gone. Happened several times. Very dangerous and dealer has no idea what’s wrong. Can’t get anyone at mitsubishi to respond. Only had car 6 months and it has $36,000 miles.

In 2020 i got a recall for engine support from mitsubishi. We took it in and told me that the support was find that i didn’t need to be replace even tho the recall called for it. They ended up putting rust paint on the support. 4 weeks ago that part broke on my wife when she was driving down the road. The steering wheel was taken out of my wife’s hand while driving. She was able to get the off the road safely. But sprained her wrist. When i found the broken part on the car. I call mitsubishi themself. When i reported these issue, i was told that someone would be coming to my house to look at the car. I signed a form for them to do that. And for the to read the computer on my car. That was 4 weeks ago. I have emailed them and called them. And no one knows what i’m talking about our replying to my email. And on top of it all we are missing work, at least one day a week because of this.
The fuel pump is failing causing the car to shut down randomly.
The cvt transmission would lose power when making a turn over last few yrs. My safety was put at risk due to oncoming traffic could have hit the car due to loss of power. The service transmission required light just started coming on after dealing with loss of power. Car only has 106,000 miles on it. The car is available for inspection & is currently at tmt automotive in bremen in. Codes coming up are transmission issues. The loss of power issue started in 2018 when the car was purchased; i did not know this was a sign of transmission issue. There was not a warranty on the car when purchased. There were no lights or warnings until last week when the car started lurching forward & light came on for the first time for transmission service. I scheduled a diagnostic appt with tmt as soon as it happened. I do not have documentation yet due to car is at the tmt automotive, waiting to hear on 3/25/24 from shop if the transmission is bad.

The contact also stated that the vehicle had lost a significant amount of gasoline after being refueled and then driving 20 miles to the residence. The failure occurred on three separate occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired.
