Left rear caliper bracket broke on my 2023 grand cherokee trailhawk 4xe. The lower caliper bracket bolt was completely loose causing damage to caliper bracket, brake pads, and rotor. Caliper bracket,, pads, and rotor were replaced at dealer as well as items in safety recall 10b.
2023 vw id. 4 - while driving the passenger door latch started making a clicking noise and door became ajar triggering a door ajar light on dash information center. Passenger held door from completely opening until it was safe to pull over. Door latch continued to make clicking noises and continued to open itself. A google search revealed recall campaign "door handle recall 57j5 [nhtsa 23v312] for my21 and my22" it was raining out when this happened. Volkswagen clearly hasn't fixed this issue for my23.
The power transfer unit ptu is failing on my 2014 jeep cherokee and jeep knows this is an issue. They have already recalled over 67,000 vehicles for this issue but somehow my vehicle isn’t affected when there’s no way i could have damaged the part myself. The problem has been diagnosed by a jeep dealership as failing but i don’t want to drive it and have fail in the middle of a trip where i would ultimately lose all power to the vehicle and be stranded in the middle of the road. No warning lamps came on but vehicle has been making a loud scraping metal on metal sound below 35 and when decelerating.
Rear seat seatbelt (behind driver) doesn't latch
The steering wheel is very very hard to turn some times when making minors adjustments on the highway to keep in the centre of the lane; only happen on high speed, sometimes 50km/h-80km/h the issue occurs too. However, after a while, it’s even more noticeable and it happens more frequently and at low speed too. Right now, it happens very frequently around 50km/h-130km/h. I am very concerned regarding this, and i been to the dealership two times but they could not find out the issue. The third time i went to the dealership they finally figured it out and ordered parts in for me; nevertheless, it’s been one/two months but it’s still not here yet. But the issue is getting worse.

According to ford service, this is confirmed to be a high voltage battery junction box failure (hvbjb). The part is pending replacement currently at central ford, ca. While ford issue recall (23s56) to replace all hvbjbs in extended range and gt model '21 and '22 vehicles built before may 24, 2022, my car was built after the date. - how was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The failure of hvbjb directly leads to the lose of power suddenly when driving on the highway. I was cruising on california state highway ca-110 while the car pops up "stop safely now" on the instrument cluster. I lost all power for acceleration and relies purely on 12v battery to power the accesories. There was no emergency lane near the location of the incident which leads to the blockage of highway on the junction from ca-110s to i-10w. This post a significant threat to me as the driver and all other drivers on highway. More importantly, the 12v almost died before the tow truck and police could arrive to solve the incident. Fortunately, i was not hit by ongoing vehicles, but multiple vehicles have to brake agressively to prevent collision. The car was unable to be shifted to n or d since the incident. -has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle had been inspected by service department at central ford and confirmed by engineers at ford to be a hvbjb failure. - were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? 2 warnings and notifications can be seen from information cluster: "full accessory power active", and "stop safely now. " there is no information displayed on the main infotainment screen.
My car alarm keeps going off. It happened last week overnight 3 times (12:30, 1:30, 2:30) last week and a week later again overnight.
While driving, the lower suspension control arm broke in half. No impact to the part, a break with no explanation. Cause the vehicle to veer to one side while the vehicle dropped in ride height causing the tire to rub on the inside of the wheel well. The damage could have caused a crash if going at a higher speed. This happened at 15 mph while increasing in speed.
The rear taillights are filling up with water and burning the rear lights out which causes safety for other not being able to see the rear of the car. I know 3 other people that have the same issue on there dodge durango. You have to take the bolt out to drain the water. There is no seal or gasket inside preventing water from going in also can cause other electrical problems which is not safe.
