The contact owns a 2012 ford f-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 mph, there was a clicking and rubbing sound in the front passenger's wheel well. Additionally, the contact stated while driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle was decelerating and was not shifting out of first gear. The contact waited 15 minutes and restarted the vehicle. The failure recurred and the contact was unable accelerate above 15 mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was notified of the customer satisfaction program: 19n01 (lead frame extended coverage); however, the contact was informed that the vehicle could not be repaired under the customer satisfaction program. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.
