2016 Ford Fusion

Antifreeze is leaking into the engine and now the engine needs replaced. Ford is aware of faulty 2. 0 turbo engines but has not recalled it. I bought an extended warranty and they won't cover it. I have been a ford guy my whole life but that will change because ford knows about the issue but won't do anything about it.

2019 Ford Edge

The car will shuttle between 1700-2500 RPMs while in low gears. In reviewing online (NHTSA) it should be a software update. I went to get the update for $400. After the update was applied the service center stated the software update did nothing. From the service center: The issue is internal. With the updates it did not chance the outcome, the transmission would need to be replaced to fix the concern. The quoted me the replacement transmission and cooler at just shy of $10k. This car is barely worth that in good working condition. The car drives, it just shutters, I would not drive it more than 10 miles. There are no warning lights. The ECG was recently replaced $1500 and the Ford facility did nothing to fix the transmission. I have called three facilities in my area, and ALL OF THEM say there is a 3-4 week timeline just to assess the problem. I had to take it to a transmission specialist to assess. Ford is avoiding this problem. How many 2019 Ford Edge owners need to report this issue so that something can be done?

2021 Ford MUSTANG MACH E

Having completed the high voltage junction box recall with the mach-e a week or so before, i was braking in order to complete a left-turn in one-pedal drive mode (therefore lifting my foot off the accelerator causing the vehicle to slow down). I received a notification as i did so that one pedal drive mode had a fault and was deactivated (this appeared on the screen by the steering wheel). This caused the car to lurch forwards, as it shifted from opd to standard drive mode. Fortunately no cars were ahead of me and i was able to quickly slow the vehicle by braking, but i'm alarmed as to what would have happened had this been in traffic.

The contact owns a 2020 ford f-150. The contact's son was driving the vehicle at approximately 70 mph, the check engine light illuminated and another day the oil pressure warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with an oil pump failure and shavings in the motor. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.

This vehicle has 3 outstanding recalls: 21v711, 21v712, 23v687. The car was purchased new from orchid isle ford in may 2021. They are the only electric vehicle ford dealer on hawaii island (they operate another non-electric vehicle dealership on the island). On 06/20/22 i had the annual maintenance performed. I requested that recalls 21v711 & 21v712 be done as well. The dealership declined and stated they would call me when they could do those recalls. They have never called. I started calling the dealership every 3 months beginning in sept 2022. They have always refused to perform those recalls w/o explanation. In february 2024 i called to schedule the 36-month service and have all 3 recalls done. I was advised that the dealership could not do any of the recalls. I was called on feb 23 by a person identifying themselves as the owner's sister (mary) promising they'd make things right and asking for two weeks to arrange for the glass recalls to be done. I have had no contact since and have again been told by the service department that they can not and will not perform these recalls at any time regardless of where i bought the car. On march 13, 2024, i emailed ford motor company's ceo james farley advising his office of the problem in getting three safety recalls performed on hawaii island. I have received no response from him, or any of the other emails sent to other officers of the ford motor company nor have i even received an acknowledgment of receipt. At this point, i can only presume that ford does not care if recalls are done. Recall 23v687 has the potential to strand me on rural roads where there is no cell service. The two glass recalls (21v711 & 21v712) can potentially cause death or serious injury in an accident.

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-150. The contact stated that while his son was driving at an undisclosed speed, he heard an abnormal sound emanating from the engine compartment. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to customer satisfaction program 19n01. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but referred the contact to the nhtsa hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 137,000.

Bought this vehicle from bayou ford in laplace, la around 2 months ago. The back up camera stopped working correctly after first month. Paid to have reset at ford dealer in slidell, they said wasn't on recall. It's got squiggly lines when selecting reverse on shifter, unable to view behind me. This is dangerous as it's a large vehicle and i fear running over something or into another vehicle out of view. This is the exact problem as the recall indicates. The slidell dealer said it would be over 1k to replace a camera and i don't have it after just buying thr vehicle. This should not be happening with a 2 year old vehicle. Can someone please help me? The contact owns a 2012 ford f-150. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle at approximately 35 mph, there was a clicking and rubbing sound in the front passenger's wheel. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle at approximately 60 mph, the vehicle was decelerating and was not shifting out of first gear. The contact waited 15 minutes and restarted the vehicle. The failure recurred and the contact could not accelerate more than approximately 15 mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was notified of the customer service satisfaction program 19n01, however, the contact was informed that the vehicle was past the expiration. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.

Death wobble experienced in 2023 at 64 k miles. Had to purchase stabilizer bar from dealer. Had another death wobble incident in april 2024. Dealer replaced same stabilizer bar again. This design is very dangerous empty but when pulling a bid horse trailer loaded with 3 horses could be catastrophic.

Failed flex plate on Ford Edge not covered by ford. Customer satisfaction program does not cover due to mileage even though our vehicle was over the mileage threshold prior to ford sending out the notice.
